Fujitsu is to use a 500MHz Eden ultra low voltage procesor in its next generation thin client products.

The CPU, which has a TDP of only one watt, will be the brain of the Fujitso Futro S100. This is a fanless and silent thin client product.

The complete system consumes just under 11 watts under full load, Via said. Rajat Kakar, VP of Fujitsu's client group said: "The Futro S100 offers business users extremely low energy consumption per seat."

富士通將會採用500MHz Eden 超低功耗處理器於下代薄客戶端產品之中。CPU的TDP只是1watt，而這個CPU將會是 Fujitso Futro S100的主要組件之一。

VIA表示整套系統的峰值功耗將會低於11watt。富士通客戶服務組副主席Rajat Kakar表示，Futro S100是用於商業使用者所需的超低功耗平台。
